A Chic Elopement at Auberge du Pommier with Sherry & Alex
Picture this: A beautiful summer day with the chicest couple, at (our personal favourite) uptown restaurant, Auberge du Pommier.
If you’re picturing this, you’d be picturing Sherry & Alex’s wedding day! Though our time together was brief they made such an impact with their beauty, grace, and confidence. What really helped that was that they had a professional photo session— both in and out of their wedding attire— on a recent vacation they took in Paris! Paris! They had the photos playing on a slideshow and to say that they were the chicest, most fabulous, magazine worthy photos we’ve ever seen would be an understatement. We always encourage couples to take advantage of their complimentary (in all but 1 package) engagement session. Even if you have already had engagement photos already taken, they’re such a great opportunity for us to work together before your wedding day. Sherry & Alex are the perfect example of this; they replicated so many of their favourite poses from their first shoot and were so confident and comfortable in front of the camera it truly felt like working with models. Think of an engagement session— whether using these photos for your official announcement, or just shooting together for fun— as a practice shoot. We can work as fast or as slow as you’re comfortable with, we can give you as much guidance as you want or need, and you can try all of those fun poses you’ve seen online. The great part is that afterwards you get to see your gallery and can self asses to see what you feel like works best for you, what pose you like the most, and you can simply recreate all of those photos and poses again on your wedding day (just like Sherry & Alex did!) And, much like Sherry & Alex, if we don’t have enough time together this will help us move faster and give you a wider variety of photos in a shorter amount of time. We could go on and on and on about this!
Auberge du Pommier is one of our favourite uptown spots, it’s the perfect backdrop for an intimate wedding, especially on the terrace with the most beautiful light. And having an incredible menu of food to have afterwards is always a bonus ;)
