Kiwi & Jude's Mini-Maternity Session
The biggest compliment we can receive is being asked to photograph another milestone in our couple’s lives
Whether it’s first your engagement then wedding, multiple family sessions with more and more littles, or— like in Kiwi & Jude’s case— first your wedding, then later your maternity session, it is all so so meaningful to us that you feel trusted, safe, and seen in our hands to ask us back for another shoot :’)
If you didn’t know, we offer mini family sessions year round! While some photographers only open their books to this once or twice a year with only a few spots, we found this to be a little limiting to try and line up our schedules with everyone else’s, for a single weekend, while also hoping for the best weather. It’s a lot to bank on right? So in an effort to make these sessions as accessible as possible— for whenever you’re ready— we selected a few of our favourite tried and true spots to shoot at, anytime of year, for a reduced price point.
Our mini sessions are $200+HST for 20 minutes. Toronto locations only; in the west end at High Park, Dufferin Grove, or Trinity Bellwoods, or east end at Woodbine Beach, Riverdale Park, or Withrow Park. get in touch here to learn more!
Ok now back to Kiwi & Jude— we were so so excited to learn about this new and exciting chapter in their lives! We had such a blast photographing their elopement, it was such a joy to reconnect with them to shoot this session together. Fortunately they are local to our mini-session locations in the east end so we opted for a sunrise session at Woodbine Beach (one of our faveee spots in the city tbh you really can’t go wrong). While the weather was calling for a little bit of cloud cover in the morning we actually lucked out with such a beautiful sunrise, and perfectly overcast skies. Not the kind of overcast that is somehow still so cloudy but so sunny you’re like, I don’t understand why I need sunglasses right now? This was the kind of overcast that was perfectly bright while blurring the sky and waterline into a beautiful gradient.
In case you’re worried that 20 minutes is too little time to shoot, take these photos as proof that it’s not! If you aren’t too interested in going to multiple locations, doing outfit changes, and really, truly just want a handful of photos to capture this special time of your lives then this is the session for you!
