Lauren & Ian's Wedding Portraits at The Old Mill

elopements have become pretty popular over the last few years

And typically a true elopement doesn’t include much; no big grouping of friends and family, no huge formal venue, no speeches and toasts, or wedding cake, you get the idea. And sometimes one of the things that is not included in an elopement is formal photography. We may be bias (lol read: extremely bias) but we truly believe that it’s always important to document your moments, big and small, exciting and mundane. Lauren & Ian had emailed about a week before their elopement and said: “Currently, we have planned to not have a photographer at the wedding. We didn't want a bunch of staged, over edited photos – just didn't feel like "us." So, we bought a polaroid camera and that was going to be our plan. However, recently I've been thinking about this is a pretty big day for us and I'm sad that no one will capture the organic moments.” Everything about this spoke to us! We are so happy to have been one of their selected vendors and giving them this gift of photos that will last them a lifetime! In addition to the fact that they were so so lovely, so beautiful, and their energy was infectious. Though we only spent an hour together at The Old Mill we had so much fun and left feeling so full!
