Kate & Kevin's Wedding Anniversary Session

it is so special to carry on a relationship with couple’s after their wedding day

It really, truly, means a lot to us. In this case we had such a lovely connection with Kate & Kevin after both their engagement session and wedding day, so when that relationship continued with casual coffee meet ups afterwards we were so thrilled. When they later wanted to shoot an anniversary session we were even more excited; our greatest joy is being able to capture milestone moments for people and having a history with them made our session feel so easy, more sentimental, and more fun to shoot together.

They chose to return to the same location they used for their engagement session and the location that was their wedding venue— The Old Mill. It’s historic, charming, and beautiful exterior is the perfect backdrop, and the Humber River across the way brings a lovely outdoorsy feel without actually leaving the city. And of course they brought along their dog, which if we have not made clear before (we definitely have): dogs are always welcome!
