Anna & Jacob's Engagement at the R.C. Harris Plant

we had a few locations floating around for anna & Jacob

But one weekend they popped over to the RC Harris Water Treatment Plant and instantly knew this is where they wanted to shoot instead! It may sounds strange to hear “engagement photos” and “water treatment plant” but we promise this one is incredibly stunning. Situated in the east end (in the Beaches at the end of Queen Street), there’s a vast green space in front of the building, and with a little walking down the drive/walk way you get to the waterfront. While there you have the stunning view across the water (perfect during sunset!), and then an expansive view of the beautiful architecture of the building..

We always push for shooting on a clear day, as overcast skies aren’t our favourite, The day wasn’t looking too great until the evening when things started clearing up and we’re so happy we went through with it! It was a big chilly out, especially by the water, but Anna & Jacob (Anna more so because she fully took her jacket off and was just rocking a short sleeve shirt for a while) were troopers and made everything look so easy!

Funny story— Stef had recently sprained her ankle before this shoot and (probably) should have spent the evening at home. But she (me, it’s me) was going a little stir crazy sitting at home ‘resting’. So while Ethan mainly shot this session, Stef also tagged along lol
