Tina & Mark's Distillery District Wedding at Airship 37

With the recent heat alert that’s been covering the city, we’re reminded of Tina & Mark’s wedding

Because we had the same 40 degree, muggy, sticky, heat wave that's currently in Toronto, exactly when we shot this. Both Hannah and I brought about 80 bottles of water (each) and were constantly refilling when we got to the venue, probably annoying everyone there but what can we say?! Hydration is key! And that isn't just for weddings during a heat wave friends, it's an all the time thing! It's so easy to forget about really simple things on your wedding day- so much is happening so it's definitely understandable, but set yourself a reminder to drink some water, eat some food and take a second to breathe, we promise it's worth it!

Going back to Tina + Mark's wedding... it was hot. T+M, and their families and friends, were all troopers as we took them through the Distillery District mid-afternoon for photos but #worthit because they all killed their photos! Look out for the Bridesmaid inspired photo of T + her girls ;)

Their wedding was filled with soft peach and blue tones- truly the most beautiful summer colours- that were reflected in their floral arrangements and decor. Their day, overall, was our ideal wedding day too (heat aside); it was relaxed. There was no crazy agenda, there was no rush, everything was peaceful, and happened one step at a time- could it get any better than that?
