Kiwi & Jude's Non-Traditional Elopement in Leslieville

our favourite kinds of weddings are the ones where the couple and their personalities really shine through

And everything about Kiwi & Jude’s wedding was just that; it was truly them in the form of a wedding. From keeping it small and intimate with only an exclusive guest list of their best people, to a personalized book that Jude made Kiwi, to pronoun pins for all of their guests to wear, everything about their day felt like a genuine expression of them and their relationship.

If dancing down your aisle to Beyonce is any indication of how fabulous this wedding is, I think we should stop writing here. Except we won’t because it actually does get better! After a short and sweet ceremony, officiated by Charity Adams, K&J took some time to mingle with their guests. The best part about having a small guest list is actually being able to connect with everyone and not in a quick ‘hi, how’s it going, sorry got to go’ kind of way, there really is time to chat and celebrate with everyone individually.

We took a small moment to step outside of the studio and walk around Leslieville for more formal photos of the newlyweds together before heading back to everyone mingling, playing some of the various games that were there (What Do You Meme, Cards of Humanity), and having celebratory drinks! It was a day that was filled with so much love, and support, and was really as vibrant, and chill, and unique as they are.
