A Studio & High Park Family Session
it is the absolute highest honour to photograph our couples at different life stages
We have a whole saga with Georgia & Mark that started with their engagement session, bridal shower, and not one but two weddings (a destination wedding in Greece and a local wedding at The Doctor’s House). The love affair didn’t stop there because we also took a few photos with them throughout this major milestone, having their baby girl! And getting a call again to shoot their updated family photos just before baby C turns 1 truly warms our heart to no end :’)
For this session we split our time between some studio time at Preto Loft— where we were able to use their different props and backdrops for a variety of more formal photos— and taking a quick drive over to High Park to walk around at sunset to get some of the warm greenery and more casual looks. We are absolutely obsessed with every part of this session, but our favourite part of the evening was hands down while we were taking a stroll around the park, when baby C began to tap out (as kids, and even adults sometimes do haha), we ran into a woman walking her new puppy and baby C was so enamoured and finally smiling again, so the woman was kind enough to stick around a little bit and use her dog as a little prop both with baby C and holding her dog behind us to get photos without them. It was the perfect end to our session and such a heartwarming moment for all of us to see those chubby little cheeks smiling!
