Letitia & Stefan's Cozy At Home Session
Some of our favourite photo sessions are the ones where we talk longer than we actually shoot for
And that's exactly what happened when we were photographing Letitia + Stefan!
Let me start from the beginning- we recently put out a call on Bunz (if you know Bunz, you know Bunz) looking for LGBTQ couples/families and POC to photograph. One of our goals for this year is to better expand our portfolio and showcase more same sex and racially diverse couples/families. Since this is an exchange of time for our services we've promised couples to not take up too much of their day (we're grateful for whatever time we're given tbh), we won't be too intrusive and above all else we promise to be honest and truthful with our photos; our goal for this project is to document more and to showcase people for who they really are and veer away from posing.
Letitia was one of the first people to reach out and say that her and Stefan were interested! When we went over to their condo (which is so beautiful btw- that light in their kitchen is from Ali Express and incredibly customizable, I immediately made a note as soon as Stefan told us) we hung out and photographed them in their room, making a coffee and lounging on the couch and I don't think there was a moment where it felt uncomfortable for anyone. They're the kind of people who are so warm and inviting that it only took a few minutes for us to feel like we've been friends with them for years.
