With each wedding, family, and event that we photograph our goal is to bring your stories to life by capturing authentic and intimate moments. We love a more structured, editorial, scene if you want to feel glamorous and chic, but ultimately we love to make our clients happy by simply capturing their love, whether being a fly on the wall, giving guidance, or a little bit of both.

We aim to create an exciting and easy going photo experience that makes you feel comfortable and confident, beginning to end.

there’s a special kind of magic that photography brings when photographing families— a kind of permanence to bellies that are growing for the first (or second, or third) time, toddlers who are suddenly teenagers, and adults who sent 100 texts and made 15 phone calls to gather everyone all in one place on one specific day.

The wonderful part about family photography is that there doesn’t need to be an occasion to set up a shoot; photographing your family is perfect just the way they are, no matter the age, no matter the time, and no matter the milestone.

A casual, documentary approach; more candid photos capturing all of your everyday moments that make you and your family unique. Getting ready together (chaos and all!), cooking in the kitchen, running in the backyard, and playing your favourite games. Let’s capture all of the things that make your house a home.

This type of shoot is great for newborns and young kids, even maternity sessions with your partner.

on location

Going to your favourite park, beach, or anywhere sentimental. A mix of documentary style— letting you do your own thing and shooting on the go— as well as some formal, posed, photos.

This shoot is great for families with both the littles, even a multi-generational family, as well as a maternity session with your partner.

in studio

If you’re interested in a more editorial feel to your photos let’s rent a studio! Whether you want a themed set up, or something classic and simple, you can get glam, bring lots of clothing options, and go all out. We’ll help you with posing, and focus more on shooting with a thoughtful, styled, approach. This type of shoot can feel intimidating because it’s much more structured than a documentary approach, but we promise we’ll give you lots of direction and help you feel comfortable and confident during our time together.

This type of shoot is especially great for a solo maternity session, as well as with your partnered, and for a family of any age.

QUESTION:

is there an ideal time for maternity photos?

ANSWEr:

Between 30-36 weeks is typically the best time for maternity photos, but truly it’s up to you! We want you to still feel comfortable being on your feet and moving around so this could mean a little earlier in your pregnancy, or it could mean shooting a little later, everyone is different so listen to your body!

QUESTION:

can the mini sessions be shot somewhere other than toronto?

ANSWEr

We’re trying to make this the most affordable and accessible option for people, and with the majority of our clients being in downtown Toronto this is a happy medium that works for us providing a discounted price. Having set locations allows you to come to us whenever your schedule and budget allows.

Since the mini-session is so short we encourage you to make a day of being in the city so your travel, near or far, is worthwhile; have lunch, explore the park we’re shooting at, see the sites!

QUESTION:

WHAT'S THE TIMELINE FOR RECEIVING PHOTOS?

ANSWEr:

Your photos will be made available within 1-2 weeks via a private online gallery where you can view, share, and download everything in high resolution. Your gallery will also include prints and personalized photo book options should you like.

what's the payment process?

ANSWER:

For our standard sessions we do 2 equal instalments; 50% as a non-refundable retainer to secure your session, and your remaining balance due on the day of the shoot.

For mini sessions the full amount is due upon booking. The session is non-refundable if you are a no-show or are late for your time. If there is inclement weather your payment will be moved forward to your rescheduled date.

E-Transfer is our preferred method of payment, we also accept all major credit cards, cash, and/or cheque.
